AN APPEAL TO ALL BROADCASTERS - Stop ignoring international demand for military intervention

The world is uniting in demand for military intervention to stop the Gaza genocide. We reject the illegitimate, annexationist and genocidal Zionist project which is exterminating Palestinian people in a live streamed genocide, broadcast to every corner of the world.

We are aware that international calls for military intervention have been sidelined and ignored by mainstream media platforms, but people worldwide are awakening to a clear truth - Israel is ideologically committed to the extermination or expulsion of Palestinians, cannot be negotiated with and must therefore by stopped militarily.

The world has a legal and moral obligation to militarily intervene to stop the extermination. The illegal seige of Gaza must be broken, unlimited food and aid must be delivered to all Palestinians, a no fly zone must be estbalished, all Israelies must be forced to evacuate from Palestine including in West Bank and East Jerusalem, all Israeli checkpoints and walls and military inftrastructure must be dismantled. These are the minimum conditions to stop Israel's genocide of Palestinians and for any meaningful prospect of Palestinians exercising self determination or the continuation of their inherent right to armed resistance over their own land, all of which must remain the ultimate goal of international military intervention.

We therefore appeal to broadcasters in all parts of the world to stop ignoring surging demand for military intervention, by giving news coverage to the Protect Palestine campaign.

Protect Palestine

Protect Palestine is an international community founded this year by grass roots Palestine solidarity groups. We have no connection to, nor we do take money and money from any state, corporation, grant making body or philanthropic organisation. We are organised and funded entirely by the people.

We have conducted targeted advocacy campaigns at the Hague Group on Palestine, OIC, States attending the meeting on Palestine in Bogota and at the Council of the Elders. Our core demands have been that states urgenty mobilise for military intervention to stop Israel's extermination of Palestinians.

We have a publication setting out the legal, moral, humanitarian obligation on states to conduct a military to stop the Gaza genocide.

We held an online workshop on "Mobilising for a Mililtary Intervention" attending by over 1.5k people with susan abulhawa, Prof. Mazin Qumsiyeh, Prof. Richard Falk, Dr. Maung Zarni and Craig Mokhiber as well as contributions from Palestinians in Gaza in support of military intervention to stop the genocide.

The Need for Media Visibility

Calls for military intervention have been largely ignored by the media, including by alternative media sources that have generally covered Israel's genocide of Palestinians.

The absence of media discourse on this is preventing important dicscussion on how, why, where, what and when this military force should emerge. This means that such discussions happen instead by corrupt politicans who are currently in negotiations at the United Nations General Assembly to plot "a stabilisation force" for Palestine to further entrench Israeli occupation and apartheid over Palestinians.

We therefore call on media broadcasters worldwide to give coverage to the peoeple's demand for military intervention and give proper oppotunity for our message to be heard and judged by the international public. Our message is clear, states must undertake military intervention now to stop the Gaza genocide and dismantle the Zionist occupation and oppression of Palestinians across Palestine.
